Powermeters are interfaced to the FLEXeCHARGE Gateway CONNECT via the Modbus TCP protocol.
In principle, any Powermeter with Modbus TCP interface can be connected to the system.
However, please note, that we recommend using the following Phoenix Contact powermeter with our Gateway, which are preconfigured and tested with the Gateway CONNECT. Whether to choose the Phoenix Contact EEM-MB370 or the EEM-MB371 depends on the type of current sensor being used.

There are different types of current transduers available depending on whether they are used in a new installation or for quick and easy retrofitting. PACT RCP Rogowski coils and PACT SCP split-core current transformers differ in their current rating.

PACT Current transformers: Offer a complete range for converting alternating currents (AC) of up to 4000A (AC) into secondary currents of 1A AC and 5 A AC. Depending on the application requirements, bus-bar, plug-in and winding transducers are available. PACT current transducers come in a range of various transformation ratios, accuracy classes, and rated powers.

PACT RCP Rogowski coils: For quick retrofit capture AC currents up to 4000 A and convert them into secondary current.
Phoenix Contact offers 4 different Rogowski coils:
PACT RCP-D140 - Coil: 450 mm long Rogowski coil. The measuring coil diameter when installed is 140 mm. The Rogowski coil is used for AC current measurement for busbars and power lines.
PACT RCP-D190 - Coil: 600 mm long Rogowski coil. The measuring coil diameter when installed is 190 mm. The Rogowski coil is used for AC current measurement for busbars and power lines.
PACT RCP-D140-5M-UV - Coil: UV-resistant Rogowski coil, The Rogowski coil measures the AC current of rails and power lines.
PACT RCP-D140-10M - Coil: Rogowski coil, The Rogowski coil measures the AC current of rails and power lines.

When using Rogowski coils with busbars and optional holding device ensures the Rogowski coil is securely seated on busbars with a thickness of 10 ... 15 mm. During installation, the coil housing is pushed onto the flange of the holding device and snaps in automatically. Details at the Online Catalogue
