Can I add new custom power meter modules (that are not in the dropdown list)?@Robert which list?
Answer: No, customers cannot add new power meter modules which are not in the dropdown list (note only Modbus TCP power meters are supported). FLEXeCHARGE will do it on demand. The reason for this is that specific names for the registers need to be used, which must be the same always so that the system can recognize the measurements. To add a custom power meter we require
- Model and vendor of the power meter
- Datasheet of the powermeter
- Modbus register table.
I cannot see the actual charger currents for my charging stations in the user interface.
The charging station needs to be configured to report the OCPP MeterValues (Current.Import) for L1, L2, L3. For most charging stations this can be enabled in the configuration interface of the charging station.
I have trouble connecting Alfen Chargers
When connecting ALFEN chargers via secure websocket (wss) connection, the FLEXeCHARGE root certificate has to be installed on the charger. This is done by Alfen via a UpdateFirmware file.
