Adaptive charging detects, based on the state changes, that the load management system receives from the EV if an EV has finished charging. After that, the system will allocate no more charge current to that EV so that other EVs can charge with more charge current.
Note: That EV, which has been allocated no more charge current, will never be able to draw power from the charging station to continue charging (trickle charge) or cabine pre-heating or similar!
Reoffer Period:
In order to allow the EV to continue charging, a reoffer period can be selected. At this period, the system will allocate the charge current to the EV again so it can continue charging. The period can be set with the "Adaptive Charging Reoffer Period (s)" parameter.

1.Navigate to the FLEXeCHARGE Smart Charging Platform, login with your information and click on the "Infrastructures" page on the left. Find the "Configuration" tab at the top and then click "General". Change the selector under "Adaptive Charging" from "Disabled" to "Enabled". Note Any setting changes here will change the policy system-wide for an entire infrastructure. | ||
